Although I never attend Prof. Cleary's lectures but just talked with him twice, I already can feel what Prof. MacIntyre said, 'He was always the one to ask the difficult question, the question that took you uncomfortably close to the heart of the matter[...]' He indeed had the strength to help students to think and reflect more than they can expect. Prof. Cleary will be sadly missed...
